Dr. Karthik Kannan is an Outstanding Research Fellow in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at National Chung Cheng University, Taiwan. He also serves as an Honorary Research Fellow at Shinawatra University, Thailand, and as a Distinguished Adjunct Professor at Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, India, and Saveetha Institute of Technical and Medical Sciences, India. He is a recipient of the Taiwan Employment Gold Card (Science and Technology), approved by the National Science and Technology Council, and was awarded the prestigious Brain Pool Fellowship by the National Research Foundation of Korea. His international research experience spans Israel, Australia, and Qatar.

Dr. Kannan recently secured competitive research funding of NTD 1.15 million from the National Science and Technology Council for his work on green hydrogen production via advanced electrocatalysis. He has published over 170 peer-reviewed articles with more than 8,800 citations (h-index: 60) and serves on the editorial boards of several international journals. He has also edited books with the Royal Society of Chemistry and IGI Global. Recognized globally, he has been listed among Stanford University’s World’s Top 2% Scientists for six consecutive years (2020–2025).

Dr. Tari Vinaya Satyawan Savitri is an inbound Staff (Ext. APD) in the Department of Biology, Faculty of Science and Technology at Universitas Airlangga, Surabaya, Indonesia. She has an interdisciplinary background in environmental science and sustainable development. She obtained her Ph.D. in Environmental Science from the University of Mumbai, India. Previously, she worked internationally as a Grant Writer at Envirotech Education, Australia (Offshore). Her work has earned multiple recognitions, including the Young Scientist Award from DERO, India(2020), Rising Star of Viksit Bharat (2025), A Friend of the Blue Planet (ACSDRI, Australia), and the ADAMYA – The Unconquerable award in 2023.

She holds a Master of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Mumbai, with research conducted at the National Institute of Oceanography (CSIR), Goa, India. Her research interests include environmental education, ESG, environmental toxicity, circular and blue economy, pollution, and nanotoxicology. Dr. Tari is actively involved in academic service, contributing as a reviewer, editorial board member, and Academic Editor at PLOS ONE. She has also edited books with the CRC Press and IGI Global. She collaborates globally with institutions across multiple countries, reflecting her strong international research presence.
